Digital Media Internship with Bailly

Professor Bailly works with Interns. The position is unpaid, however it does offer benefits.

DIGITAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP WITH BAILLY
John William Bailly is a Professor in the FIU Honors College and the Artist-in-Residence Fellow at the Deering Estate. This internship will see the intern manage and edit three WordPress websites and two social media accounts

The student intern will be registered for the free, zero credit IDH 3999. IDH 3999 does not count against earned credit but will be on the student’s official transcript.

This is an unpaid opportunity but includes an annual pass to the Deering Estate.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DIGITAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP
DMI must be a current FIU undergraduate student.
DMI must have previously completed a class with Bailly.
DMI must commit to 100 hours for the semester.

BENEFITS FOR DIGITAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP
DMI will earn experience managing three WordPress websites with over fifty bloggers.
DMI will earn public recognition as editor of three high profile websites and two social media accounts.
DMI will receive an annual pass to the Deering Estate.

DMI will have the opportunity to foster relationships with individuals in museums, parks, and education.
DMI will be guaranteed a personalized and substantive letter of recommendation and add a great line on their resume, upon a successful completion of the internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR DIGITAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP
DMI will organize and edit the following WordPress websites:
www.miamiimiami.com
www.baillylectures.com
www.johnwbailly.com
DMI will manage the social media accounts of Miami in Miami.
DMI can complete the work remotely or at the Deering Estate.
DMI must commit to 100 hours total for the semester. These will be completed both in-person and remotely.
